See You At The Pole.

Ah yes...that time of the year when the teenagers of the nation climb out of their comfort shells, if only for a minutes, to gather together as believers in Christ to join in prayer for fellow students, teachers, school, and nation. Though it may only be a short time of "public" actions to share their faith, it must be credited for them to do this.

I, unfortunately, am like many of these students. We become cowering quakes of a form when asked about their faith, to give a prayer, or anything to do with religion. But why all the nervousness?

I see this national crisis as a lack of bonds. There seems to be no ties between the Christians of the schools. But what we must see is that we can most definitely not take the school by our own individualities. Even if we confront God with an asking heart of spiritual victory we are still lacking the positive of fellowship. Without this, we are hopeless.

Granted, God still may and will work in miraculous ways at school or wherever your battleground is. But we humans cannot function without the support of others and team work.

I am planning to propose this idea to all who attend the SYATP Rally tomorrow morning. What will be asked is this; that we all bond together and agree that this world is failing. That we cannot do this alone. And that if we attempt to reach others, we will most likely fail.

This, my friends, is what I see as a need for us. To fight together with God as our fuel and strength and our friends as our comrades.
